 Mrs. Caroline Burton

 

                              

 

 

 

Mrs. Caroline Burton graduated from Lander College in 1989 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  In 2001, she received her National Board certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist and, in 2005, she received her Master’s degree.  She has taught at Oakland for fifteen years, her entire teaching career.  She has taught special education, fourth grade, science lab/gifted and talented, and currently third grade.  She lives in Greenwood with her husband Jimmy, and 3 cats and 2 dogs who are her “babies”.  

 

Mrs. Burton makes learning fun using Native American game sticks to teach a lesson. 

Mrs. Burton listens to Tra Sanders read poetry.
